Rules
General
You must keep your phone turned on and the app active at all times.
There will be charging stations for your phone if your battery runs low.
No physical contact - except for blocking.
Blocking is the action of pushing someone's hand away from your tag.
Always stay within the game area's borders.
Safety
- Stay within the borders set out by the arena map.
- Do not go near any bodies of water.
- Limit your time near roads and always be aware of your surroundings - including pedestrians not participating.
- We expect common sense to be used and if we find you are unnecessarily endangering yourself or others you will be disqualified.
- Be mindful of your phone's battery, do not let it run out.
- Stay hydrated and make use of water fountains safe zones! (Note your time in safe zones is limited.)
Elimination
- Once a participant grabs a tag from an opponent, they must inform the Gamemakers of the number of tags taken and the number written on the tags when safe to do so.
- If your tag has been taken, do the same as above.
- If you are out (both tags gone), raise your hand for 30sec to signal your elimination as you retreat to the Gamemaker's area.
If you are approached by others while retreating, raise your hand again. - If you are injured, you will have to forfeit the game, unless you are recovered/mended - AT THE DISCRETION OF THE GAMEMAKERS Again, you must raise your hand as mentioned above to signify your withdrawal. Notify a Gamemaker of your location and condition.
- If you misuse the withdrawal signal, you will be disqualified.
- Camping and loitering at safe zones will be reprimanded.
- The Gamemakers reserve the right to disqualify, penalise or ban any player.
Physical Contact
No physical contact of any kind is permitted, except for blocking.
- For e.g., tripping, shoving, gripping, punching, headbutting, biting, martial arts moves and techniques, kicking or throwing stuff.
- Gamemakers reserve the right to disqualify, penalise, or ban players.
